How do I register for an event I have been invited to?

You may receive an email inviting you to register for an event. In which case click on 'Register Now' if you wish to attend, and you will be taken directly to the registration form to begin your registration.

Alternatively, you may have received an invitation link directly from your event administrator. Following this link will take you directly to the event site - to begin your registration, click on 'Start Registration' option at the top right of the Home page. Your email address should already be pre-populated in the box above the ‘Start Registration’ button, simply select the button to begin your registration - simple as that!

In both cases, you will then be taken to the registration form for the event - this is where you will be providing all the relevant information required to confirm your registration.

Note: some events may be configured to only accept the email address associated with the invitation received. In this scenario, if you need to use a different email address, please contact your event administrator and request for a change to your invitation, and a new one can be sent to your desired email inbox.

If there are multiple tracks (types of guest or ticketing structure) available then you will be asked to choose a track to register with before beginning your registration - this may already be selected for you by your event administrator depending on how the event has been configured.

Can I decline an invitation to an event?

Depending on the event configuration, you may see the following page displayed when you click on your invitation link.

On this page, you can continue to accept your invitation by clicking on the 'Register Now' button, and if you wish to decline, provide a brief explanation in the text area provided and click on the red 'Decline Invite' button. This will inform the event organizers that you will not be attending, and there will be no further actions required from you - if things change and you do wish to attend after declining the initial invitation, simply contact your event administrator and a new invitation can be sent to you to begin your registration!
