What branding images can I add to my event?

Adding Event Graphics to your event

When creating your new event, you will find two sections available at the bottom of the new event form - these are the 'Event Graphics' section and the 'Event Email Graphics'. The 'Event Graphics' section provides you with the ability to upload a 'Logo' and the ability to upload an 'Image' to be displayed in your event. You are not required to upload any images to create a new event, but this functionality allows you to personalize your event's microsite to suit your needs.

Uploading a 'Logo' will display an image in the centre of the banner area at the top of your event microsite (as indicated in the screenshot below).

We would recommend that 'Logo' images uploaded should have a transparent background, and where possible to be a light coloured image compared to the 'Image' file uploaded (or vice versa). This is to guarantee visual clarity between the two images and also provide the best quality visual output when viewed within your microsite.

When an 'Image' file is uploaded, this will be displayed as the banner image at the top of your event microsite (as indicated in the screenshot below).

We would recommend that file uploaded as an 'Image' should be of a high resolution to guarantee the best quality output when displayed within your microsite. The image should also be orientated as 'landscape' as opposed to 'portrait' to guarantee that the majority of the image is displayed when viewed in the microsite.

To remove an event logo or image at any point, you can enter the 'Edit Event' area, select a new image to upload and then click the 'Update Event' button to save your new image. However, if you wish to completely remove your current image(s) then click on the 'Remove Image?' checkbox found to the right of the image you wish to remove. Once you select 'Update Event' any images you have selected to be removed will no longer be displayed in your event microsite.

Adding Event Email Graphics to your event

At the bottom of the new event form, you will find an optional section labelled 'Event Email Graphics'. The 'Event Email Graphics' section provides you with the ability to upload an 'Email Logo' and an 'Email Banner' to be displayed in your event emails. You are not required to upload any images when creating a new event, but this functionality allows you to personalize your event's emails to suit your needs.

Uploading an 'Email Logo' will display your image at the top center of any invitational or confimation email sent to your invited or registered attendees (as indicated in the screenshot below).

You have the choice of uploading just a logo image, but you can also combine it with a banner image to give a 1 to 1 representation of what's displayed in your event microsite. When both banner and logo options have images uploaded to them, they will appear as shown in the screenshot below.

We would recommend that 'Email Logo' images uploaded should have a transparent background, and where possible to be a light coloured image compared to the 'Email Banner' file uploaded (or vice versa). This is to guarantee visual clarity between the two images and also provide the best quality visual output when viewed within your microsite.

When just an 'Email Banner' file is uploaded, this will be displayed as the banner image at the top of your emails (as indicated in the screenshot below).

We would recommend that file uploaded as an 'Email Banner' should be of a high resolution to guarantee the best quality output when displayed within your emails. The image should also be orientated as 'landscape' as opposed to 'portrait' to guarantee that the majority of the image is displayed when viewed.

To remove an email logo or banner at any point, you can enter the 'Edit Event' area, select a new image to upload and then click the 'Update Event' button to save your new image. However, if you wish to completely remove your current image(s) then click on the 'Remove Image?' checkbox found to the right of the image you wish to remove. Once you select 'Update Event' any images you have selected to be removed will no longer be displayed in your event emails.
